Swing That Music

Our first recording, released in 1999. It features the title track, Rhythm Is Our Business, Stardust, as well as two numbers associated with Bix Beiderbecke - Way Down Yonder in New Orleans and Clementine (from New Orleans ) - both arranged in the style of Bix's 1927 recordings. You're Drivin' Me Crazy/Moten's Swing pays tribute to the Bennie Moten Orchestra recording of 1932, while Ain't-Cha Glad revives a wonderful but rarely heard tune by Fats Waller. This was the last recording made by the fine drummer Ed Slauson - thanks , Ed!

Swingers and Novelties - Featuring a Tribute to Don Redman

Our second release from 2005...a great mix of solid swingers ( Stompin' At The Savoy, Sweet's Georgia ), dixieland favorites ( Jazz Me Blues ), aerobic scat vocals ( I Got Rhythm, Sweet Sue ) and inspired zaniness ( The Music Goes 'Round and Around ). Our three tune tribute to the great composer/instrumentalist Don Redman is here as well, with two tunes he performed with the McKinney's Cotton Pickers ( Cherry and Gee, Baby, Ain't I Good To You ) as well How'm I Doin'(Hey-Hey) from his 1932 orchestra.

Still Swingin'!

Our latest effort - it's been a long time ( 13 years! ) but it's worth the wait and we're Still Swingin'! We've put together a fun and swinging collection of Dixieland, Swing, Novelties and harmonized vocals. And there's a special tribute to our late friend and bassist Lee "Westy" Westenhofer ( I Believe In Miracles, a wonderful tune that he performed with me for many years ). I'm very proud of this project, and I hope that you'll enjoy it. Happy Listening!
