Hello everyone! We have a special gig coming up on Saturday, November 7 - it's the Pre Code Hollywood Frolic, a dance and get together sponsored by the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles. We have a special relationship with the Society, as the band performed at the Art Deco Festival on the Queen Mary for 13 years (2005 - 2017). The theme is pre-code Hollywood (the Hays Production Code), so the music will be primarily from 1934 and earlier. We'll also be mixing in some waltzes and latin numbers, as was common with dance bands of that time. We'll still miss in some of our usual repertoire as well.
The location is the Pasadena Masonic Temple, and it start at 7:00 p.m. Please consider joining us for a fun night!
