Hello again - it's time to let you know about some upcoming gigs in August. First up is our second appearance at the Orange County Fair - the date is Saturday, August 8 on the Plaza Stage. We're part of Fair After Dark again, on Swing Night. There are 3 sets of music starting at 8:30, 9:30, and 10:30 pm, with dance lessons before we start and in between. I'll be providing more information in the Calendar section, and you can also check out The Swingsations Facebook page and my Instagram account jimzieglermusic.
Also, we'll be making another appearance at the Society for the Preservation of Dixieland Jazz (SPDJ) August meeting on Sunday, August 23, perfoming a feature set. It's at the Arcadia Elks Club. Please consider coming out and supporting this organization, one of the few remaining in the area. They have a nice dance floor and we'll be playing some swinging music as always!
